Sinister Impulse

Finally busted out the oil paint, its been so long I'd forgotten how great this medium is. I'd originally thought that I would do a few not to detailed fast paintings, but once I got started I got a little absorbed with it. This painting is about my motivation to do art which would ultimately be death expressed by the underlying distorted skull as well as my desire to have some lasting effect on the world, represented by all the emanating wavy lines.
